Sometimes you just need a trusty shear to rip things to size and we can do that. We feature a 12 foot, 1/2" capacity Accurshear and a 10 foot Weiger Shear for thinner and specialty materials.
Stainless Steel Products started with a Weiger Shear purchased from West Berlin in 1960. Its unparalelled German engineering has allowed it to serve even into the modern age with almost no repairs needed. We later added a Cincinnati Shear which was retired when we added our current workhorse, a 12 foot Accurshear. Taken together, we have at our disposal the finest machinery available for shearing and we're not afraid to use it!

For structural shapes and certain plate applications, we use various other cutting methods, from band sawing to cold sawing, as well as torch cutting with plasma and oxy-acetylene by hand.

Our shearing services are fully adaptable to your production needs and can be integrated in a variety of ways.
Most commonly, we will employ shears or other cutting devices as part of our normal fabrication duties. We take care to evaluate cost efficiency in all of our jobs, to the benefit of and savings for our customers. Some jobs need only shearing, some require costlier water jetting, and some require a combination of shearing and water jetting. You can rest assured we will find the most efficient combination of services for your job.
We also offer shearing as a stand alone service. Many of our customers just need their own materials cut to certain sizes. We will certainly do that for you in those cases. We'll even take off the sharp edges of your material to minimize the chance that you might be injured. Customer safety is a top priority for us.
